Edmond is a professional economist with experience across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. An expert in quantitative modeling and applied research, he goes beyond data and analysis to help clients solve complex problems and achieve their goals. His approach is holistic, blending deep technical expertise with strategic insight to drive impactful solutions in business, policy, and program development.
Before founding Edmond's Advisory, he led the business advisory and economics consulting practice for eastern Canada at a prominent national accounting firm, delivering management consulting and technical projects for clients across diverse industries. Prior, Edmond was a principal at a leading financial services consultancy, where he specialized in regulatory analysis, capital market risk, cost optimization, and market data solutions for global financial institutions and asset managers with portfolios of up to $800 billion.
In the public sector, Edmond served as an Economist and Strategist at the Regional Municipality of York, advising senior executives and government officials on economic policy, finance strategy, and fiscal planning while overseeing the management of $14 billion in municipal infrastructure assets. He also held key roles as lead economist and policy advisor for several Ontario ministries, where he spearheaded high-profile policy development projects, strategies and action plans, and evaluations, resulting in the successful implementation of multi-year government programs valued at up to $780 million.
Edmond has also imparted his expertise as an educator, teaching at York University's School of Public Policy and Administration and Toronto Metropolitan University's Department of Economics. He holds a master’s degree in applied economics from York University and the Schulich School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in international economics and finance from Toronto Metropolitan University.
